The Spring Break Edition

The Spring Break Edition

Who is ready to leave behind this snowy unpredictable weather for some fun in the sun!?! I am!! My family and I are counting down the days until we get to head back to our favorite Florida island for boating, beaching, and lots of sand castle building. Traveling with three small kids is no small feat so I am trying to be as prepared as possible so this vacation actually feels like a vacation!  From comfy and cute outfits for them, a stylish treat or two for me (like I said let’s make this feel like a vacation!), to practical travel must-haves, see below for some of my latest finds that I (hope) will make this vacation as smooth and as relaxing as possible!

To Treat Myself

Spring Break in April feels a little like a summer preview so I find it a perfect excuse to indulge in a little spring/summer shopping. I have had my eye on this adorable Clare V. bag. Now I just need to decide on what extra straps I like most!

To Pack for The Girls

I know I may be biased but our spring drop is just sooo good! I will be packing up basically the entire line for my littles for this trip. I love that they love wearing these comfy dresses, and I love that they look so cute and put together in them. On our last trip, my girls decided each day to dress in matching outfits (completely on their own!) so I will be sure to pack 3 sizes in each! My absolute favorite is the Annika Dress, I know all three of my girls will love it!

To Pack for Mom

This one will definitely be in my suitcase. The color-block Callahan dress, in the softest Oxford ever, is just perfection. The fit is incredibly flattering (hello adjustable waist) and I love the fun colorblocking for spring!

To Walk Around

I have been looking for a new more minimalist sandal that will go with literally everything and I think I found it in these new Tkees. I love their new lace-up style, but as I tend to be (very) low maintenance on vacation I love that these give a similar look with no need to fuss with the ties.

To Survive The Plane

This travel seat was recommended to me and it is amazing! My one-and-a-half-year-old sat happily in her own seat for the whole flight…so basically it is worth its weight in gold.

To Travel With Kids

Speaking of Travel…it is definitely tough to keep a toddler entertained on a plane. My latest find that she loved to play with (read: kept her occupied for at least 5 minutes) is this Sticker Wow. She went back to it again and again and she was able to do it on her own which is a huge win if your kids are in that 1-3 range. I’ll be packing a couple of these for the plane and dinner out for sure!

To Conquer Travel Day

My girls and I will all be wearing our DL Spring sweaters for travel day. These 100% cotton sweaters are so soft and comfy and the perfect weight that seems to mysteriously keep you warm on a cold plane, but at the same time, not overheat you the moment you set foot in the sunshine. Bonus they are washable which is always key after a travel day that inevitably includes all of the snacks (and accompanying messes)!

To Pack for The Beach

I am super excited to try out this new Surfer Dude toy at the beach. I also ordered more of these refillable water balloons that make a great pool toy! Hoping these can buy me a little relaxing time next to the pool!

To Pack for The Sun

While I love my Krewe sunglasses that I have written about on here before, on a vacation that is going to include 3 kids and a lot of opportunities for lost broken or tossed overboard sunglasses I find it best to have a pair that (or two) that I won’t worry about losing or breaking. I recently got these and the fit is awesome, sort of a thinner wayfarer vibe. And bonus they are polarized!

To Pack for The Boat

I love this new blue set in our active pique fabric. It is a perfectly lightweight, stretchy material and is UPF50+: the best for throwing on when we are out on the boat all day!
