Hi Friends! School is out and we are ready for summer!! This is my favorite season and my favorite month: sailing starts, morning drop-offs end, and beach days are here (not to mention we have 3 fun family birthdays to celebrate this month!). I anticipate a busy but fun-filled summer so I thought this would be the perfect time to share some of my summer and beach day essentials. I like to stock up and get organized now so we can take advantage of the best season (and weather) our home state has to offer.
Here are my top summer essentials:
An LL Boat & tote - I do not want to admit how many Boat Totes I own…but they are a classic for a reason! They are sturdy, washable, and fit a ton of beach towels, you really can't go wrong. Bonus points for personalizing it with something fun!
Another reason I love summer - it is the season of a cold glass of Rose by the water! If you love a chilled glass of wine as much as me you will appreciate enjoying it in the perfect outdoor glass. Ryan gave me a personalized Vinglace glass lined wineglass a year ago and I absolutely love it! Easy to clean, stays cold and you can drink your Whispering Angel out of a real glass from the comfort of your beach chair
The Flagler is a DL classic, it is polished and cute, the perfect throw-on-and-go piece to keep you looking chi at the beach all summer long. This year's style is my favorite so far: I love this new cotton linen stripe in my favorite white and blue color combo.
IYKYK: Sunbum sunscreen is awesome. I recently got this roll-on baby sunscreen and it is perfect for touch-ups on the go.
California Beach Co. Pop and Go Playpen
this is truly the best little play tent if you have littles. It assembles with one pop and you are good to go. We used it a ton, both on the beach and in your backyard, with my older girls and I just got a new one (in the cute pink!) to use this summer with Ellie who turns one in June!
Want to make swim lessons more fun? Or have some fabulous sprinkles-loving ladies in your life? Then these are the perfect goggles for you. My girls love these special goggles and it definitely has helped their swimming as they no longer refuse to put their faces under!

The Summer Sweater of my dreams!
Introducing the Duffield Lane flag sweater! Made from our very soft 100% heirloom cotton this sweater is truly special - they feel amazing, feature thoughtful details like embroidered stars (hello Fourth of July!) and to top it off these sweaters are washable! We just got them in and already they are almost sold out. The cotton is so soft making this the perfect layer for a breezy summer evening at the lake. The only tricky part is picking your color!
